Introduction

This Cookie Policy describes the use of cookies and similar technologies on blackstoneadvisor.it.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files or pieces of information that may be stored on the user's device while browsing. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, may be used for technical purposes necessary for the operation of digital services.

2. Technical cookies and tools

Blackstone Advisor uses cookies or technical tools necessary to ensure the proper functioning and security of the site and the services requested by the user. They may be used, in particular, for: authentication and session maintenance; application security; management of technical and language preferences; operation of the Client Area; management of temporary sessions of digital services; prevention of abuse and unauthorised access; operation of payment services when requested by the user.

Tools currently in use: "session_token" session cookie (Client Area authentication, 7-day duration); localStorage "bs_lang" (language), "bs_ai_session" (technical identifier of the Blackstone Tax AI session) and "bs_taxai_terms" (acknowledgement of the Tax AI terms); sessionStorage "bs_lang_manual" (manual language choice). The hosting infrastructure may also set technical security cookies (e.g. anti-bot protection) necessary to deliver the service.

These tools are used to the extent necessary to provide the requested service and are not intended for commercial profiling of the user.

3. Analytics, profiling and marketing tools

As of the last update of this Policy, Blackstone Advisor does not use its own analytics, advertising profiling or behavioural marketing tools on the site.

Any analytics or tracking tools that are not strictly necessary will not be activated before obtaining the user's consent, where such consent is required by applicable law. Should such tools be introduced in the future, this Cookie Policy and the related preference management mechanism will be updated before their activation.

4. External services

Some features requested by the user may involve interaction with external providers, for example for authentication with Google or for payments via Stripe. Such services may use their own technical tools when the user decides to use the related feature. Processing carried out directly by such parties is governed by their respective notices.

5. Local technologies

The site may use localStorage or sessionStorage to temporarily store information necessary for the operation of the application, such as preferences, technical identifiers or session information. Such tools are not used by Blackstone Advisor to create advertising profiles of users.

6. Browser management

Users may configure their browser to delete or block cookies and other locally stored data. Disabling the necessary technical tools may however impair the operation of the Client Area, authentication or other requested features.

7. Updates

Blackstone Advisor may update this Cookie Policy as a result of regulatory changes or the introduction, modification or removal of technologies used by the site. The current version indicates the version and date of the last update. For more information on the processing of personal data, please consult the Privacy Notice.
